Columbia, SC – December 18, 2011 – Two of South Carolina’s foremost shredding companies; Shred360 and Secure Shred have announced they will merge operations under the Shred360 brand. The merger was completed on December 16, 2011 and will create the largest, locally owned, certified information destruction company in South Carolina.
Shred360, founded by partners John Anderson and James Christie, and Secure Shred, founded by President Mallory Edwards are pioneering companies in the shredding industry. James Christie said, “When we started Shred360 we had one concept in mind, “Be the best shredding company in the industry.” Mallory Edwards acknowledges the same thing,”Great customer service wins every time. There are large national companies, but we found a niche in providing local companies with superior service.”
Now the two companies will have more resources available to provide small and large businesses the same kind of customer service and security they are known for among their clients. John Anderson shared his vision about service, “That’s why we liked Secure Shred. Their attention to service and detail is exactly how we do things.”
“Shred360 and Secure Shred spend a lot of time and energy focusing on our customers,” Mallory Edwards said. “We are not going to sacrifice that foundation; it’s just the way we do business.”
Similar histories and philosophies led the companies toward this partnership, but the benefit for the industry and the community will be felt across the entire Southeast. James Christie said, “The merger puts us in a better position to compete in the marketplace. We are providing a stronger company that will be better for our customers.”
