For the second year in a row, Shred360 is taking the lead in the collection of back-to-school supplies for area schools, teachers and less-fortunate students.
Back to school time brings the added burden and cost of buying school supplies. For many parents, these costs are just too demanding. With continuing state and school district budget cuts, many schools, too, cannot offer supplies for students, and so the burden is passed to the teachers, who must stock their classrooms with supplies.
Those of us at Shred360 who are parents fully understand the need for ALL students to get what they need for school. With properly supplied children and classrooms, children can fully concentrate on their studies and reach their full potential.
Therefore, Shred360 is once again partnering with several fantastic local organizations, who also believe in this cause, to help collect supplies for children and schools in the Midlands and Lowcountry. Basic supplies that are needed include:
Pens (red, blue and black)
Inexpensive flash drives
Boxes of tissue
Handheld pencil sharpeners
Loose leaf notebook paper
3×3 Post It Notes
Composition Notebooks (not spiral)
3×5 Index Cards
Shred360 will be providing free shred days at the collection locations, so bring stuff to shred AND stuff to give! The following Shred Days are designated collection locations:
